Alt. Proteins are making headlines in the private sector but open-access research is deeply lacking. Universities hold the key to unlocking the potential of Alt. Proteins.

Join us on Thursday to hear from three leaders in the Alt. Protein university space and discuss how we can build this field in Cambridge and beyond!

Amy Huang is the Good Food Institute’s University Innovation Manager, helping to build Alt. Protein research and education at leading universities around the world.

Julia Gil N. Martin was a Co-Founder at the Wageningen Alt. Protein Project and now works as a Food Scientist for cellular agriculture company Hoxton Farms.

Jeffray Behr coordinated outreach to academics for the Stanford Alt. Protein project, helping to bring new researchers into the field. He has since worked for plant-based chicken company Rebellyous Foods.

All three will present on their work in the university space followed by an interactive Q&A. Everyone welcome to join, whether from Cambridge or further afield!
