Attitudes to AI risk arguments
[Apart Research https://apartresearch.com/]

This is a ~5-10 minute survey meant as a rough gauge for different attitudes that people in the Effective Altruism and Rationality communities have towards AI safety. We're looking for responses whether or not you believe AI safety to be an important issue. Note that some of these questions are designed to be inherently ambiguous.

KEY DEFINITIONS:
- AI Safety: we treat this as a term that encompasses both technical AI safety research, and AI strategy/policy/governance
- Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) systems: AI systems that are able to produce human-level performance on a wide range of tasks
- Transformative AI (TAI) systems: AI systems that are able to qualitatively transform society in a way as large as the industrial revolution

Results and analyses will be published on LessWrong and the Effective Altruism Forum. We hope that this feedback will help inform future outreach and communication about AI safety.
