I am the founder of Effective Animal Advocacy Kenya, an animal health professional and animal welfare advocate based in Kenya, with a strong interest in improving animal welfare through evidence-based, high-impact interventions. My background in animal health and my internship at the Department of Animal Welfare introduced me to the One Health approach, which recognises the deep interconnections among animal welfare, human health, and environmental health.

Through my work with rural communities and small-scale farmers, I have witnessed the significant impact of preventable animal diseases, poor husbandry practices, and limited access to veterinary services. These experiences have shaped my interest in working on scalable solutions that improve animal welfare while also supporting livelihoods and public health.

I am particularly interested in farmed animal welfare, global health and development, and applied advocacy. My goal is to contribute to practical, cost-effective programs that reduce animal suffering, improve biosecurity, and promote more humane and sustainable food systems, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
