Founded in Spring 2023, the Wisconsin AI Safety Initiative aspires to serve as an incubator for high-impact careers promoting and facilitating the safe advancement of artificial intelligence. 

We help students develop a holistic understanding of the risks that come with increasingly capable AI, and provide resources for them to gain technical skills and pursue careers that address those risks.
