Off the-cuff (David Reinstein's recollection)

• They are the largest/among the largest and most widely consulted charity evaluators in the USA
• They are not EA-aligned and their ratings are based on non-impact considerations like overhead and governance structures
• They have some EA-impact related initiatives on their page and in the works. See, e.g., 'Charities Working in High-Impact Causes ... some of this comes out of their partnership with the now-defunct 'Impact Matters' evaluator (started by Dean Karlan)
