For the past decade, I have been working in farmed animal protection, serving organizations dedicated to the eradication of industrial animal agriculture and its complex array of perils. I have intersected in varying ways with the Effective Altruism community through this work, both as it relates to the ethics of fundraising and to the many EA organizations serving this cause.
