I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia, where I specialize in the confluence of data science and animal welfare. My approach integrates advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to understand animal behaviours and improve animal welfare. My work encompass utilizing Elo rating and Bayesian statistics for in-depth analysis of cows' social dominance hierarchies under various competition, developing new automatic pipeline for early detection of lameness in dairy cows. Outside the realm of research, I am dedicated to education, simplifying machine learning concepts for high school students through interactive workshops. As a proud female figure in the technological arena, I am committed to inspiring a new era of women scientists. At the core of my work is a profound commitment to harnessing AI's potential to monitor and improve animal wellbeing.
