We’ve been on a good streak of seeing new faces at our events and I hope that trend will continue for this one. We’ll start with introductions and a brief intro to the concept of effective altruism. Then we’ll break into smaller groups to answer any questions, explore the ideas, or just chat.
Unfortunately I'm sick and bowing out, but at least one person should be wearing a shirt with the heart-in-lightbulb logo of effective altruism, and there should be a decent turnout (~8-10 people?) based on RSVPs from the various platforms we advertise the event. The group may be in the upstairs portion of the venue.
You're invited to join us even if we haven't met before or you aren't sure what this effective altruism thing is all about. We'd be happy to meet you!
