One concern you raise is that strong “income ceilings” might reduce incentives to earn more, and thus lower counterfactual impact. This topic is very very important but I don't see much discussion on this here.

Also, have u thought whether there’s a risk of hitting a locally satisfying equilibrium that’s globally suboptimal in terms of impact?

This post made me wonder if emotionally salient donations meaningfully increase long-term giving capacity? like even if the initial act isn’t maximally cost-effective?

Clear explanations of impact without any manipulation feel so much healthier actually!

Could be because yours was succinct and not a long diplomatic one :) I feel its okay to use fewer words and express than trying to appear polite and verbose unnecessarily.

I feel like Clearer guidance, fewer purity tests, and more strategic compassion could really strengthen animal advocacy instead of fracturing it.

Only if someone's inviting him perhaps? @akash 🔸

Even my daughter uses gpt after our arguments and I'm very much aware of this. She even praises gpt for calming her down in her discussions with her mom. If the stuff if calming her down- i guess it's a good as well as a bad thing. Good as she's not stressing herself and bad since she's probably hiding her thoughts now.

Thank you for this one! I'm glad to know you did this as a student. I can only suggest to not get overwhelmed in those low years- you're already doing fine than most!

I was wondering what all should I consider before taking a pledge like GWWC 10% ? Looking upto relevant article suggestions or advices.

The disagreements below this post with "X" was quite expected but the post in itself was quite unexpected. I agree to the content btw!
