Namely, improve performance as long as it's effective. Surely many can recognize when their efforts, money or time invested is maximizing results. Everyone has already heard about the 80/20 rule, but the point is that you can stop at 90% of the ideal and 70% if you suddenly realize that efficiency has decreased.
