There are a lot of problems in the world, and a lot of potential solutions, and it's hard to know what to focus on. In this event, we'll use resources from charity incubator AIM (formerly Charity Entrepreneurship) to come up with, narrow down and evaluate interventions to help with significant problems in global health and development.
We will:
-brainstorm potential interventions
-narrow our list down to some particularly promising options
-do more in-depth research into the most promising interventions
-have lots of fun!
-meet like-minded nerds who want to know more about charity and intervention evaluation
The activities will be based on AIM's research process for finding cost-effective interventions. Note that I (Amber) am not a researcher myself; although some experienced researchers may attend, we’ll mainly be using resources to learn and experiment together.
