This Thursday, join NY's Rationalist community for a discussion on evidence based child education! 

Meetup Description: Most discussions of parenting strategies, especially when it comes to education, are heavily confounded by selection effects. Any number of educational interventions have come and gone with little to show for them. Are there any low-hanging fruit left? We'll discuss a few promising possibilities: spaced repetition software, gamification,  AI enabled "aristocratic tutoring", and advanced wargaming. Most strategies discussed here will still be highly relevant to all adults but can be expected to be uniquely valuable for parents. 

We will also discuss the rationalist fertility crisis... Then, we'll have a few rounds of speed-socializing! 

The meetup will begin at 7:00PM, as usual.
