This is an opportunity for teams across the world to develop proof-of-concepts that could influence the rules and behavior of future AI systems, ensuring they reflect diverse perspectives and serve the public interest.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞:
We are seeking teams to propose and develop democratic processes for overseeing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). The challenge is not merely to design an AI system, but to conceive a democratic process that can guide its behavior and ensure its alignment with human values and public interest. The best teams will be awarded grants from OpenAI, with 10 prizes of 100.000 USD up for grabs. The outcomes of this hackathon will be freely accessible to the public, fostering further innovation and discussion within the community.

The hackathon will take place on Sunday, the 4th of June, from 10:00 onwards at , Howitzvej 30, Frederiksberg, Room: "The Wunderkammer".

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦:
The hackathon will begin with an orientation session, followed by team formation and ideation sessions. Participants will have the rest of the day to work on their proposals.
