How can we do good better with our limited resources?
Effective Altruism is a philosophy that combines head and heart. We use scientific evidence and careful rational reasoning to figure out how to help solving the world's most pressing problems.
If this sounds interesting to you and you would like to learn more, on 27.4.2022 at 18:00 members of the university group Effective Altruism Tübingen will give a systematic introduction (30 min talk) to the concept of Effective Altruism. Afterwards, it'll be possible to ask questions and discuss together.
No pre-registration (and of course no prior knowledge) is required.
We will provide snacks and drinks.
The talk will be held in English.

Wie können wir mit unseren begrenzten Mitteln am besten Gutes tun?
Der Effektive Altruismus ist eine Philosophie, die Kopf und Herz verbindet. Wir nutzen wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse und rationale Argumente, um herauszufinden, wie wir möglichst viel Gutes bewirken können.
Falls du das spannend findest und gerne mehr erfahren möchtest werden am 27.4.2022 um 18:00 Mitglieder der Hochschulgruppe Effektiver Altruismus Tübingen eine etwa halbstündige systematische Einführung in das Konzept des Effektiven Altruismus geben. Anschließend wird es die Möglichkeit geben Fragen zu stellen und gemeinsam zu diskutieren.
Wir werden Snacks und Getränke stellen.
Der Talk wird auf Englisch stattfinden.
