On 30 October in Utrecht, we brainstorm about future-proof education for the next generation of entrepreneurs, managers, engineers, and for teachers who want a green built environment.

  • Are you an emerging leader, teacher, or student with a passion for green buildings?

  • Do you want to brainstorm about teaching materials, or do you want to translate regular education into education for starting professionals?

  • Are you looking for knowledge and skills about how to make the built environment green, energy-efficient, and healthy?

Register here and join us in the Botanical Gardens Utrecht. We organise three parallel sessions and one outdoor session. During these sessions, we discuss our educational innovation and your educational needs as a teacher or potential student.

Parallel session 1: Stakeholder management for innovative ecosystems. How do you professionally collaborate with other, more or less sustainable organisations? Dr. Christian Kroll designs a teaching case based on the green roof ecosystem.

Parallel session 2: Interactive game circular construction.Where are the pitfalls and possibilities in the value chain for circular construction? Dr. Marja Exalto-Sijbrands designs an interactive game on circular construction and integrates regenerative elements such as green roofs and walls.

Parallel session 3: Regenerative entrepreneurship. How do you start and sustain a regenerative enterprise to green the built environment, while balancing idealism and money? Dr. Karen Verduijn and dr. Pedro Branco design frameworks and best practices for regenerative business models.

Plenary outdoor session: We know less and less about our natural environment. Yet, being in nature stimulates creativity, inspiration, and holistic problem-solving. dr. Corelia Baibarac-Duignan and dr. Alexandria Poole design education interventions outdoors to help you experience nature anew.
