EAGxPrague will take the place 13-15 of May. (More about what is the EAGx conference about here: https://www.eaglobal.org/events/eagxprague-2022/)

We would like to offer our hospitality to everyone who is coming for this event and use this opportunity to get to know more EAs from other countries. We are therefore organizing a series of events that you are welcome to join before the conference. It is meant for all participants of EAGxPrague as well as for all EAs who are not attending EAGx. So please do not hesitate to come!

Our community/coworking space Epistea will be open and available all week Monday-Friday from 10am until 10pm. Feel free to stop by, you can arrange pre-conference meetings, cowork or just hang out and meet others!

Additionally, there will be Social mingling events - you can come to all of them, or pick the most relevant for you. We've set up a 1on1 session, and discussion with specialists where you can meet people who are attending the conference even if you are not attending.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

WEDNESDAY - 11th of May:

7-8:30 PM - with Ollie Base about event management
- Ollie is a Community Events Manager at The Centre for Effective Altruism. Come to discuss why are people needed in EA event management right now. Is it really something that EAs should do? Come to Epistea space to meet and ask Ollie Base.

THURSDAY - 12nd of May:

2-4 PM - 1on1 Speedmeetings at Karlínské náměstí, in front of the church entrance.
We will set random pairs and we will have 10min to know a bit each other.

6-8 PM - Q&A with Karolina Sarek - Karolina is a co-founder and director of programs at charity entrepreneurship, https://www.linkedin.com/in/karolinasarek/.
The discussion will happen in Vegtral, a vegan restaurant.

8-10 PM - Social program for the Czech community + EAGxPrague - the vegan restaurant is prebooked. Vegtral.
