Effective Altruism San Francisco is trying something new this Saturday! We are running an event to build skills for lasting friendships. Not by matching people by common interests (which you can do yourself by posting in the Bay Area Effective Altruists group), but by really leveraging an in-person event to practice skills that can be used to make individuals in our community closer to each other. Given that this is a last minute event posting, we expect a smaller group than normal, about 20-25 people. People will spend some time in small groups, and some time one on one. Come as you are, don't be late, and be prepared to be eased into vulnerable conversation with strangers.

After hosting one for a more general audience last October, we found interest in the same event but specifically for women and nonbinary people. This is it!
