Effective Altruism is a great tool for reasoning about doing good - but how do you put it into practice? How can you, personally, change the world? Do you like free food?

This week, Phil will be hosting a discussion on the Charity Suvita. Founded in 2019 by Varsha Venugopal, using funding from Charity Entrepreneurship, Suvita has worked on vaccine uptake in India, primarily through immunisation ambassadors and text reminders. Why is she using these methods, how effective has this been, and how did she get started in the first place?

Join us at 328a Gloucester Road to learn about Suvita, discuss its impact, and have a full one-course meal prepared for you (Quality not guaranteed). See you there!
