You have 80,000 hours in your career.
How are you going to help others?
Habiba Islam is a careers advisor at 80,000 hours, a non-profit that offers free advice to people trying to make a difference with their careers.
Habiba will explain what's behind the common advice 80,000 hours gives out when trying to help others think about careers that help many more people: explore, be picky, and be ambitious.
Habiba will also talk about individuals who've taken this advice and are now pursuing promising careers in journalism, government, and research and more.
Habiba previously served as the Senior Administrator for the Future of Humanity Institute and the Global Priorities Institute at Oxford. Before that, Habiba qualified as a barrister and worked in management consulting, specialising in operations for public and third sector clients.
There will be a Q&A at the end to ask Habiba any questions you might have.
This will be followed by a free catered social!
