Let’s explore novel approaches to radically increase hedonic tone through biological and technological means, taking the potentially logarithmic scales of pleasure and pain into account. What are possible strategies for minimizing suffering in sentient beings, and advocating for transformative shifts in our understanding and engineering of consciousness to foster a future where suffering might become obsolete?
