Are you passionate and knowledgeable about Effective Altruism and looking for a way to do good this weekend? Join me, Elliot, from EA Australia for a working bee to update our website, followed by a free dinner to thank you for your hard work.

What: We will spend a few hours dividing up the www.effectivealtruism.org.au page between us, and writing copy for the new website. With many hands, we can make light work! After that at 7pm, we'll head somewhere nearby for dinner to hang out and thank you for your contribution.

Why: This is a great opportunity to put your knowledge of EA into action, helping newcomers to the community find the right ideas and people. Our website is long overdue for an update, with some links and writing that are outdated. We want to emphasize how to get involved in EA in Australia and make it easier for people to take action.

Who: We're looking for volunteers who have a good understanding of the ideas of Effective Altruism and decent writing skills. You don't need to be perfect since it will be a first draft, but your contributions will be highly valued.
