Giving What We Can Twin-Cities (GWWC TC) is a new group hoping to encourage people to donate more, and donate to charities that do the most good in our world. This group is separate but similar to the Effective Altruism group - more focused on outreach and encouraging others to pledge a portion of their income to effective charities.

The "Giving Game" is an event where participants will:

• Learn about GWWC and effective charity options to donate to
• Discuss with other participants what charity you think is the best option, and why
• After discussion, each participant chooses which charity they'd like to donate to. Each participant gets $10 to donate to one of the effective charity options. Additionally, $5 for every participant will be donated to the charity that receives the most votes

We have to apply for funding for this event with GWWC international, so understanding the headcount is important. Please register for this event if you plan on attending, and please attend the event (or notify us if something comes up make it) if you've register

Where: Minneapolis Central Library - Room S-275 RKMC. Paid underground parking available and can be refunded
