RSVPlease (click on the buttons above, no account or email is needed), as this will be at Hauke's place, and we want to be sure there is enough space for everyone.

Interested in why we need Cryptography and how basic Cryptanalysis works?

Instead of a lecture, we will play Decrypto, a board game where you have to secretly communicate short numbers sequences to your partner while the other team tries to decrypt them.

The session is mostly supposed to be a fun introduction for a hands-on practice on why it's so difficult both to design a sound cryptosystem as well as to crack it. However, as a security researcher with a strong interest in cryptography I can answer a few questions on how real cryptoanalysis works and share some fun war stories.

The game is designed for people age 12+ with no prior knowledge is required, so if that applies to you and that sounds interesting, feel free to join!

Please drop us a line below (or via pm or email) if you want to participate and have not been in contact with us before.
