EAecon

EAecon is a new community-building project.

EAecon Goals

EAecon aims to reinforce the social cohesion of EA Economists across all EA-orgs, and to welcome new economists on board through four goals: 

• learning GPREcon work
• networking and matching collaborators
• pitching academic, charity, and social entrepreneurship projects and getting noticed by grantmakers
• career development (discovering which academic and non-academic EA jobs are available for economists).

EAecon Community

EAecon builds its community through two formats: 

• An online community (in construction)
• organizing different types of physical events of different capacities throughout the year (EAecon Retreats and EAecon Meetings).
