Hackathons

Pressure cookingHackathons are intensive, collaborative events which run over a short period of time, perhaps 5-48 hours. During a hackathon, participants work in teams or as individuals on a particular kind of project. This project would traditionally involve programming, but in current usage it could include writing, or other focused tasks.
