The Institute for Progress (IFP) is a think tank dedicated to accelerating scientific, technological, and industrial progress while safeguarding humanity's future.

Funding

As of July 2022, IFP has received a $1.6 million grant from Open Philanthropy,^[1] and a $480,000 grant from the Future Fund.^[2] It has also received additional funding from Emergent Ventures, Sam Bankman-Fried, and Patrick and John Collison.^[3]
