Pursuing a career in art is not usually recommended within EA, though art can address the bias for the present, affect public imagination about, and make future more vivid than data.

From Alex Berezhnoi's talk, you will learn how art can persuade an oil state to invest in renewables and how you can embrace deep time in the midst of a 20 million-people megapolis. Together, we will explore how the effective altruism community can become more welcoming and empowering for artists.
