The Double Crux Game was one of our favourite meetups last year so we're bringing it back! 

Join us for a topical AI edition where we'll map out cruxes to questions such as: Should AI safety be prioritised above other cause areas?

Here’s how the game works:

You’ll get a list of controversial EA-themed statements, be paired with someone who holds the opposite opinion… and then instead of arguing your side, work collaboratively to uncover each other’s cruxes (the things that, if they were true, would change your opinion) and therefore the real underlying reasons for your disagreement.

We think it’s a really enjoyable game, a way to generate fun intellectual conversations, and a genuinely useful tool for practising thinking clearly about complex topics.  

We'll explain the instructions on the day and practice an example together first.
