During Project for Awesome, thousands of people make videos advocating for various charities. Then people vote for their favorite videos while the 48-hour continuous live stream is happening. Last year, the EA community won about $190,000 split across 7 charities. Join our workshop to learn how to make videos for charities to win money for them and introduce them to a wider audience!

We'll start the event by explaining the project, and if you decide to get involved we'll share some resources and spend the rest of the session:
1. Researching charities in the provided list (already chosen democratically by people in EA) and deciding which you want to make a video for.
2. Brainstorming video ideas together / doing individual research and planning/writing scripts.

Important deadlines:
• Video submissions: Feb 9 - Feb 23
• Voting during the live stream: Feb 25, 12:00 pm EST - Feb 27, 11:59 am EST
