Join us for an evening of discussion & a group activity, the Ideological Turing Test. It is like the Turing Test (when a computer tries to credibly pass as a human over text chat), except with humans trying to credibly pass as advocating for a position that they don't actually believe in.
It’s a helpful exercise in understanding alternative viewpoints and practicing steelman arguments.
This is a repeat of the South Bay EA activity from 2019. Past feedback showed that participants had fun, so we are excited to bring it back for another run!
