We’re excited to share that Ansh is hiring for a COO. 

This role is part of Ansh’s Executive Leadership Team, helping to shape and deliver the organisation’s operational strategy to ensure both core functions and program operations are efficient, effective, and ready for rapid growth.

Responsibilities include overseeing core operations — HR, finance, compliance, and administration — ensuring strong systems are in place, funds are managed well, and exceptional talent is recruited and supported.

The COO will also work closely with the CEO to manage Ansh’s programs in India, including partnerships with implementation partners, strengthening systems to support the on-ground team, and enabling rapid expansion to new hospitals.

It’s an exciting time at Ansh — we’re scaling up our direct implementation work through our GiveWell grant, piloting new, potentially highly cost-effective, community-based KMC programs, and recently started a national government partnership focusing on reducing neonatal mortality in 9 high priority states (population totalling over 750M). 

Location: Remote. India-based (Jaipur or Delhi) or UK-based preferred, but other locations will be considered. Must be able to overlap with standard working hours in India (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) for at least 4 hours per day.
Salary: Based on needs, location, and experience. India-based: INR 50,00,000 per annum; UK-based: GBP 65,000. A range up to GBP 80,000 may be considered for an ideal candidate. Open to discussion for other locations.
