I'm Mayank, a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Our University EA group has been active since Fall 2024 and we are currently in-need of new organizers.
So far, we've introduced ~30 people to EA through our intro fellowship over the past couple of semesters, though we've struggled with consistent attendance and post-fellowship retention. We are looking to potentially expand/shift our group's activities to run general meetings, along the lines of our friends at EA Purdue (Why and How Your University Group Can Run General Meetings — EA Forum). It would be a very suboptimal outcome for our group to die with the graduation of our current organizers (incl. me). Don't take it from me, take it from this shrimp:

Strongly agreed. Organizing a group is probably one of the best things one could do for both their present and future impact.
