My question is mainly focused on small orgs (1-10 people), but answers from any larger orgs would also be welcome!

I’m doing some prioritisation and budgeting for my project and would be grateful for any answers people have to the questions below to inform my thinking:

1. How much internal staff time does your organisation spend on monitoring and evaluating impact?

2. Based purely on the staff time above, how much does this cost you (roughly) in $/£ per year?

3. Excluding the above, how much money do you spend on external monitoring and evaluation (either consultants, or software etc.)?

4. If you don’t have any external support for M&E, why?
