Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has any data/resources on which charity, or similar, to donate/recycle electronics/computer equipment in the most effective way? I live in the UK, but would be interested in knowing how people here might make such a decision regardless of where they live.

Welcome to the EA forum. I'm guessing you are confused because you asked an innocuous question and got a bunch of downvotes. I did not downvote, but I can say that my initial reaction is that in the US, one typically needs to pay to recycle electronics, and I've always thought there would be better uses for that money. But donating electronics to a charity that could perhaps distribute them to people in less-developed countries seems like it could be positive.

Hi, I was living in the UK some time ago, and used to recycle and donate my electronics to a charity called Little Lives UK. They had handy and free collection service. Some other charities do this as well.
