Hello there!

I have noticed that blogs, news, books and the EA community in general tend to look at studies if they want to get informed about a certain topic. I do try to find studies, but I would be required to pay in order to look into them. I don't know if I should rely on news articles for reliable information, since perhaps they could have biases or misinformation.

So I'm wondering, are there any websites that EAs tend to look up for studies/data on the topic of their choosing?

The only ones I know are "Our world in data" and "Nature.com".

Thanks.

Google Scholar is the best search engine for papers on a given topic, though you'll have to know what you're looking for to get the most value out of them. Aside from that, I'm sure there are specific resources that are "best" for certain topics, but it will depend on the topic!

Is there something in particular you're trying to learn about right now?

no, not really.

just wanted some potential pointers to where people would look to find some papers on a topic they would like.

thanks
