Chloe Cockburn is the founder and CEO of Just Impact Advisors, a donor advisory and grantmaking group specializing in criminal justice reform in in the U.S., which was spun out of her portfolio at Open Philanthropy (now CoEfficient Giving). She publishes on Substack, and has published two articles in SSIR. She is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
Thanks for this interesting post! You may find it interesting to check out the Global Whole Being Fund, which operates along the lines that you suggest. They have in-region and in-country leaders who they partner with to make recommendations for very on-the-ground organizations to support in response to various crisis scenarios (disaster, war, etc).
