I think it's useful to people who aren't interested in working in AI Safety. There's a chapter where they say basically "our best guess is that loss of AI control is the most pressing problem to work on" and explain their reasoning, but also examine pandemic prevention, animal welfare, global health and end by saying this isn't conclusive and may change with time/new research. Perhaps someone at 80000 Hours could add something if there's anything to correct/add but I think they presented this material well for a broad target audience.
