Hey there! I’m Max, a political science master’s student, effective altruism community builder, aspiring rationalist and general stats enthusiast.

I have a background in quantitative methods of social science, game theory and political psychology. By day, I’m researching and writing about the politicization of AI in party systems: how parties and voters in different countries position themselves on different facets of the issue, and what that means for effective AI governance. By night, I’m falling down LessWrong and SSC/ACX rabbit holes.

After graduating in June 2027, I’m hoping to move into AI governance work or start a PhD.
