I’m a writer and content marketer seeking to transition into AI safety.

My background is in personal growth and mental health. I’ve written for YouTube channels and blogs with millions of subscribers.

I also have a background as a workshop facilitator, community builder, and life coach. I’ve facilitated over 100 group workshops and held over 750 1:1 coaching sessions.

I think that AI safety is the most important and urgent challenge we’re facing. And I’d like to use my skills to help spread public awareness of what’s at stake, or to help AIS organizations with their message.

On a personal note, I spend my free time with relational practices, meditation, parkour, basketball, board games, and piano.

How others can help me

I’m looking to move my career into AI safety communications/content or community management.

I’d love to connect with others working on AI safety who could share insight about how to find opportunities and what organizations need in this field.

If you know of projects or orgs that need help with communications or community management, I’d love to hear about them!

I also hope to get more clarity on the AI safety ecosystem to help direct my efforts, discern which skills to develop, and better position myself in applications. I’d also enjoy meaningful conversations about AI safety to help develop my theory of change.

How I can help others

I can help you communicate your ideas clearly with writing, build an audience, and develop a content strategy. I feel confident in my ability to translate complex topics into easy-to-understand language.

I also have deep experience in facilitation, coaching, and community design, and I’m happy to share lessons about building collaborative, supportive spaces.

I also have a former career as a sex/relationship coach, and am still plugged into that world. So if you'd like any introductions or reflections on that part of your life, I'm happy to discuss!

Thanks for the post! Great analysis of that conversation.

I'm curious if you think that AGI will never be built? Or not any time soon?

Or maybe you don't have a stance there and are just pointing out that these big tech names can't explain how to build it.
