Welcome to our Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup! Whether you're a newcomer or you've joined us before, let's get to know each other (better) and explore the most thought-provoking questions facing the animal advocacy world today.
This time, we'll explore the question of how strong the evidence is behind some of the animal advocacy movement's most prominent interventions. We'll be joined by Amanda Matthes, the Animal Welfare Technology Lead at Amodo Design. In this role Amanda identifies technology bottlenecks in the animal welfare space and launches engineering projects to address them. Amanda will be talking about how even some of the most salient animal welfare interventions still have little evidence to support them. No preparation is required, but you're welcome to read the EA Forum post Animal Welfare Has an Evidence Problem beforehand if you'd like to dive deeper.
