Welcome to our Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup! Whether you're a newcomer or you've joined us before, let's get to know each other (better) and explore the most thought-provoking questions facing the animal advocacy world today.
This time we're excited to welcome Johannes Pichler, who studies physics at the University of Vienna and works at Sentient Futures as a community coordinator. Johannes will take us through one of the most overlooked areas in effective altruism: wild animal welfare. He'll examine the scale and neglectedness of suffering in nature, explore current and potential interventions, and discuss what we might be able to do to reduce suffering in the wild.
