Join us for an enlightening evening as we celebrate the launch of Jonathan Leighton's latest book, "The Tango of Ethics: Intuition, Rationality and the Prevention of Suffering".

As the Executive Director of the Organisation for the Prevention of Intense Suffering (OPIS), Jonathan has been a leading voice in promoting suffering-focused ethics. His new book develops a framework for thinking about ethics and offers valuable insights on how we can create a more compassionate world.

Jonathan will take the stage to share the inspiration behind "The Tango of Ethics", touching on key themes and concepts from the book. He will also discuss the vital work of OPIS and the role suffering-focused ethics plays in shaping their mission and strategies.

The event will conclude with an open Q&A session, and guests will have the chance to purchase signed copies of "The Tango of Ethics" and continue the conversation over drinks.

Agenda:

19:00 - 20:00 Talk by Jonathan Leighton about his book and OPIS

20:00 - 20:30 Q&A

20:30 - 21:30 Drinks reception
