I’m helping organize the upcoming EA Summit Hong Kong, and we’re exploring options to provide physical EA books to participants so they can continue learning about EA concepts after the event, share them with friends, and deepen their engagement with the ideas beyond the summit itself.

In particular, we’re interested in getting bulk copies (ideally donated or at a significant discount) of the following books:

• Doing Good Better – William MacAskill
• The Life You Can Save – Peter Singer
• The Alignment Problem – Brian Christian

Does anyone know:

• Whether any EA-aligned orgs, publishers, or programs currently provide bulk copies of these titles for events, fellowships, or uni groups (e.g. book-giveaway schemes, education budgets, etc.)?
• Specific contacts at publishers, authors’ teams, or EA organizations that we could reach out to about event-focused bulk orders or sponsorship?
• Examples of how other groups (EA uni groups, retreats, conferences) have successfully sourced, funded, or distributed books like these?

Context: EA Summit HK will bring together students, young professionals, and community members who are relatively new to EA, and we think giving them a curated book to take home could be a very cost-effective form of outreach and follow‑up education.
