We are trying to fundraise for a Brazilian version of GiveWell.

What would you say are the most effective ways to pitch effective altruism, convince people of its importance, and get them to donate?

Our working hypothesis are:

(i) the current terrible experience for donors looking for effective charities in the country

(ii) the outsized impact if this nascent venture succeeds

(iii) collect favors from friends and family achieve a level of scale before trying to convince strangers
