A and AI Debate Week 2026 runs from November 30 to December 6. The debate question is “What % of EA resources should go to making AI go well?” It covers both funding and careers, and is bounded to 2027. The exact wording may change before the week starts.
During the week, logged-in users can vote on the question using a banner on the Forum homepage and comment in a discussion thread. Any post that offers information or an argument that could change an impartial altruist’s mind on the question counts as a debate post.
