EA Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a holiday celebrated on the first Tuesday after American Thanksgiving (either the last week of November or first week of December). Its organizers (GivingTuesday 2021) describe it as[1]
For the past several years, Facebook has matched some donations made through their site on Giving Tuesday (Facebook 2021).Tuesday.[2] Since 2017, a group of effective altruists have organized to direct as much of this as possible to effective charities (Norowitz 2018)charities.[3]
