Toby Ord

Toby David Godfrey Ord (born 18 July 1979) is an Australian philosopher. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Future of Humanity Institute. He is also the founder of Giving What We Can, the co-founder of the Centre for Effective Altruism, and the author of The Precipice: Existential Risk and the Future of Humanity.
