My name is Caroline, and my academic background is in Computer Science. I’m the director at AI Safety Global Society, an organization running upskilling projects to help those transitioning to AI Safety technical research and AI Governance. My journey into fieldbuilding started in 2024 when I worked as an AI Safety course facilitator at Bluedot Impact and volunteered at AI Safety Hungary, leading to starting an AI Safety University Group at the University of London which led to AI Safety Global Society.

 I received career transition funding from Open Philanthropy and have been working on AI Safety projects. I have also worked as a co-organizer for Effective Altruism South Africa and have recently founded EA Johaneesburg.
