Hello. I have just arrived at this post a year later than others. My name is Sam Musoke and I have been involved in the project to develop INPAS since 2019, and I now work at the International Non-Profit Reporting Foundation. I am delighted to see this discussion and thought I might add some comments
1. Please do reach out if you have any comments or questions about INPAS. We are a listening organisation, and exist to meet the needs of stakeholders. info@inprf.org
2. Two countries have so far made formal adoption announcements - Kenya & Uganda. Expect more announcements in the coming months, in Africa, Latin America & Asia. (We don't expect to see USA adopting it for domestic nonprofits, although FASB was very involved in its development, and every time they make a revision to GAAP they will certainly be consulting INPAS.) They prepared a detailed comparative analysis for anyone who is interested. Mechanick.US GAAP vs INPAS.11.26.2025.revised.pptx.
3. There are loads of other resources on the inprf.org website, including a video with a walk through of the illustrative financial statements.
4. In addition to INPAS itself there is a harmonised grant reporting format, with a grant report that ties into INPAS-compliant financial statements. This is a win win for grant makers and grantees. Harmonised Grant Reporting | INPRF. If anyone is interested in this, there is a Donor Community of Practice you can join. Get Involved | INPRF
