I broadly agree, and it's been useful to me in the past when organisations using Applied have given me application feedback such as this example.
I also agree with Vinoy that it's a bit of a misaligned incentive problem. Could one idea be that there is an opportunity in the EA careers ecosystem for an external recruiter, who could navigate the tension between hiring managers wanting broad pools and candidates wanting feedback to help them on their journey?
